Unrecognized file types

TaxDome offers unlimited storage, so you can upload as many files as needed. Most common file types are accepted, including PDF, PNG, JPG, JPEG, XLSX, XLS, DOCX, DOC, CSV, and TXT.

However, we do not allow all file types because we want to keep TaxDome a safe place for your documents. 

Learn about all the ones that are not allowed, listed here with their extension names:

• Executables: .bat, .exe, .cmd, .sh, .php, .pl, .cgi, .386, .dll, .com, .torrent, .js, .app, .jar, .pif, .vb, .vbscript, .asp, .cer, .csr, .jsp, .drv, .sys, .ade, .adp, .bas, .chm, .cpl, .crt, .csh, .fxp, .hlp, .hta, .inf, .ins, .isp, .jse, .htaccess, .htpasswd, .ksh, .lnk, .mdb, .mde, .mdt, .mdw, .msc, .msi, .msp, .mst, .ops, .pcd, .prg, .reg, .scr, .sct, .shb, .shs, .url, .vbe, .vbs, .wsc, .wsf, .wsh.

• Archives: .xpi, .whl, .war, .tlz, .tgz, .tbz2, .tar, .shar, .s7z, .rar, .pea, .mar, .iso, .gz, .epub, .egg, .dmg, .deb, .cpio, .cab, .ar, .apk, .a, .7z

• Videos: .webm, .mpg, .mp2, .mpeg, .mpe, .mpv, .ogg, .mp4, .m4p, .m4v, .avi, .wmv, .mov, .qt, .flv, .swf, .avchd.

With all file types, the maximum size you can upload is 200 MB.

If you try to upload a file in an unsupported format, you will see a warning message, and the  Upload button will be inactive.
