Manage your profile settings on mobile

Upload your photo

Once you’ve registered with TaxDome as a client, you can upload a photo so your tax preparer can identify you: 

  1. Tap your profile in the top left of any section.

  2. Tap the camera icon next to your name and email.

  3. Tap Upload New.

  4. Locate the photo that you want to upload, then crop it to fit.

  5. Tap Done.

Reset your password

Your password is usually created during registration, but if you want to change it, use the web version of your portal. More on resetting your password

Change your email

Reach out to your firm to request a change in your email address. You can find your firm’s contact info on your dashboard.

Change your portal language

English is used on your portal by default. However, if you are more comfortable with other languages, you can change it:

  1. Tap your profile in the top left of any section.

  2. Tap Language.

  3. Select the language you prefer.

Change passcode

To change your passcode for added security:

  1. Tap your profile in the top left corner of any section, select Security settings, then tap Change passcode.
  1. Enter a new 4-digit passcode.

  2. Re-enter it for confirmation.

Enable biometric login

If you prefer the convenience of using your Face ID or fingerprint instead of entering a passcode while logging in:

  1. Tap your profile in the top left corner of any section, select Settings, then tap Use Face ID/Biometrics to log in.

  2. Simply show your face or use your fingerprint sensor. Now you’re all set to log in using your face or fingerprint.

Manage push notifications

Push notifications keep you informed about new messages, document requests, and other activity from your firm. To receive them, notifications must be enabled in two places: inside the app and on your device.

Turn notifications on or off in the app

  1. Tap your profile in the top left corner of any section.

  2. Tap Settings.

  3. Toggle Push notifications on or off.

Enable notifications on your device

If you’re not receiving notifications even though they’re turned on in the app, check that TaxDome is allowed to send notifications at the device level.

  1. Open your device Settings.

  2. Tap Apps, then find and tap TaxDome Client Portal.

  3. Tap Notifications and make sure notifications are turned on.

  3. Tap Notifications and make sure Allow Notifications is turned on.
