How to whitelist emails from your firm
Email delivery issues can prevent you from receiving important messages from your firm. Whitelisting ensures they always reach your inbox.
Why emails from your firm may not reach your inbox
Emails can fail to reach your inbox for several reasons:
- Bounces: If an email is undeliverable and “bounces” back to the sender, it may be due to factors such as an invalid or non-existent email address, a full inbox, or other delivery issues. After repeated bounces, that address may be added to the suppression list to prevent continued attempts to send emails to a consistently undeliverable address.
- Spam complaints: If you mark an email from your firm as spam or choose to unsubscribe from emails, your email address may be added to the suppression list to prevent further messages from being delivered and to comply with anti-spam regulations. To ensure delivery, avoid marking legitimate emails from your firm as spam.
Note
Users on the suppression list will not receive any notification emails from their firm, including alerts about new chat messages, requests, documents to sign, and other important updates. What whitelisting means
Whitelisting means adding specific email addresses to your safe sender list. This tells your email provider to trust messages from these addresses and deliver them directly to your inbox, bypassing spam filters.
To receive all communications from your firm, you should whitelist the following addresses:
- notifications@taxdome.com — notifications about new documents, messages, and updates from your firm
- security@taxdome.com — security-related communications about your account
