How to e-sign with D-Trust sign-me

If your firm requests a qualified e-signature (QES), you may be asked to sign using D-Trust sign-me.
Important
This requires a verified D-Trust sign-me account, which is separate from your TaxDome account. Your TaxDome login credentials will not work for D-Trust sign-me.Step 1: Set up your D-Trust sign-me account
Before signing, you need a verified D-Trust sign-me account. Go to sign-me.de to register and verify your identity. D-Trust’s quick start guide walks you through the process step by step.
Note
This is a one-time setup. Once your account is verified, you can use it to sign any future documents your firm sends with QES.
Step 2: Sign the document
Once your D-Trust sign-me account is set up, return to your client portal to sign the document:

Open the document in your client portal or click the link in the signature request email.

If prompted, read the Electronic Signatures Disclosure, check the box, and click Continue.

Click Sign document.

Select your country from the drop-down.

Select D-Trust sign-me as the authentication provider and follow the on-screen instructions to log in and complete signing.
Once the document is signed, you will see the signature stamp at its bottom.
